About Us

Braselton Animal Hospital was opened in Braselton, Georgia in 2007 by Dr. Linda Rentfrow to serve the residents of Jackson County and surrounding counties.

Our Staff

Our staff members bring care and compassion to our practice. Of utmost importance is our focus on patient care. We not only offer years of experience working in the field of veterinary medicine but attend continuing education to provide quality care to your pet.

Dr. Linda Rentfrow grew up in northeast Texas where her interest in and love for animals began. She worked on her family’s farm raising beef cattle and was active in both 4-H and FFA. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. After graduations Dr. Rentrow embarked on a career in Agribusiness.

Dr. Rentfrow later returned to Texas A&M University earning the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. Upon graduation Dr. Rentfrow put both her veterinary degree and business background to good use managing a small veterinary hospital in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Rentfrow has worked in emergency medicine at the Dekalb Gwinnett Animal Emergency Clinic, and in small animal general practice, since moving to Braselton, Georgia in 2002. Most recently, Dr. Rentfrow helped design and implement the Spay Neuter Program for the Humane Society of Hall County. She also participated in the relief effort for stranded animals following Hurricane Katrina in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

When you visit Braselton Animal Hospital you’ll often see some of Dr. Rentfrow’s dogs and cats greeting customers in the office. She also owns cows, mules, goats, turkeys, chickens, and bee hives.

Dr. Rentfrow has a special interest in small animal dentistry and in surgery. When not at work she is busy caring for her farm animals which include a Mustang, donkey, mule, goats and chickens, along with dogs and cats.

The mission of Braselton Animal Hospital is to provide veterinary care that is responsive to patients medical needs and to address the concerns of the pet owner. The members of our staff are committed to providing high quality care and personalized service, treating each pet if they were one of our own.

The most important tool is the kindness and care our medical staff provides. Our patients are checked after normal business hours by a staff member or the doctor. Our goal is to treat your pets as though they are our pets. We welcome you to join our pet care team.
